The salty air, marsh as far as you can see, and 2 minutes away from some of the greatest seafood on the coast, this arrogantly shabby coastal airbnb is sure to make you grab your bags for a quick getaway to the lowcountry of South Carolina.
Project Goals
When we met this beautiful inlet house it was run down and in need of lots of love - our team was bursting at the seams with ideas to turn this house into the perfect cozy coastal home.
We wanted to do something different for this renovation by pushing the limits on coastal design by bringing in an eclectic design mixed with our very own boho “arrogantly shabby” style. This meant lots of color, plenty of pillows & throws, and some exciting thrifting adventures.
The Living Room
Cozy, Functional, Living Room
No tvs, just a record player, board games, and lots of coziness in this living room. Trips to the inlet mean sun kissed skin, lots of oysters, laughing, and late night talks, and dancing to our favorite classics.
The Kitchen
We believe the kitchen is the heart of the home, especially with all the low country goodness getting cooked up in this space. For the kitchen we needed to add additional storage and cabinet space for functionality. To keep things from feeling to closed off we went bright on our countertops and cabinets, allowing for some fun color pops on the ceiling and original flooring.
