Creating Your Dream Coastal Home: A Guide to Full-Service Interior Design
Full-service interior design is a luxury. We are so grateful that we get to express ourselves through a blend of creativity and engineering, and we don’t take it for granted. Our clients’ homes need to be functional, stylish, and a reflection of them. We simply bring our creativity and Type-A organization to the table to achieve the vision with efficiency and, hopefully, fun!
We’ll handle every phase of the design process from beginning to end. Here’s how it works in just a few, high-level steps:
1. Design
Here is where we pull all the textiles, colors, and samples together and start narrowing down your favorites. When we’ve got exactly the vibe you want, we’ll create a design board for each room we’re tackling.
2. Procurement
After the design, we will begin sourcing and ordering all the hard materials (think countertops, tables, cabinets, and more). We handle all ordering and shipping to ensure that everything arrives on time and in the shape it’s supposed to be in!
3. Final staging
Once the installs have happened, it’s time to add those details that make coastal home design so unique and comfortable—think: pillows, rugs, window treatments, and decor.
Two of the bigget complaints about interior designers that we hear often: “they never stay within the budget” and “they’re always behind schedule.”
Rest assured that with the Fig Leaf and Co. crew, these two things are not going to be a problem. We are huge fans of budgets and want to work within the guidelines that make you comfortable. After all, our mission is to make your home a reflection of you, not someone else.
As for timing: especially with new construction, there are always hiccups, but you can bet that, on our end, everything will be running like a fine-tuned machine. And if there are delays, you will have constant, upfront communication from the team.
